Compares Archive Pages
The Wayback Machine was built on the premise that securing historical access to the Web is important and valuable. But viewing snapshots of a web page over time begs the question "what's changed?" With the help of Advanced Software's industry leading DocuComp comparison technology, The Internet Archive is pleased to provide Wayback Machine visitors with an answer.
You can access the new compare feature from any Search Results page. Just click the "Compare Archive Pages" link on the Wayback Machine address bar (as shown above). A new page will appear with a check box next to each archive date. Check any two dates and click "Compare two dates."
A new page will display the comparison results with inserted, deleted and even rearranged text highlighted.
From there, anything is possible...
Perhaps you're wondering what's happened with a favorite site?
